Split Text Block into Paragraphs

I have this large text block, but I would like to split it into
smaller ones by a number of characters. It needs to _split at whole
words_, and not just randomly in the middle of a word.

What's the best way to do this?

Thanks in advance.

A helpful response there P'tit, excellent use of your time. If you'd
like to point him to the function in the 'FM' that does this then go
ahead.

word_wrap, that you apparently fail to know as well...

OK, I stand corrected. Still no need for your obnoxious reply when
you could have simply said 'word_wrap'. You came through in the
end, tho :-)
