Document catalog

Nic
Hi,

I'd like to create my document catalog by using php + mysql.
The catalog should be quite simple, composed by two pages.

Main page:
Search engine
Browse by category: cat1, cat2, cat3

Document page:
Title
Type
Review
Localization

Do you know some script or CMS useful for this purpose?
Many thanks!

Best,
Nic

(1) Put "CMS" into Wikipedia

(2) You need to think what sort of documents and what sort of search
*and all the functions the users want*. eg edit? Ask questions? Cross
link to associated documents? Navigate structured pages? So you've
probably got to do a lot more system specification before jumping to
solutions.

Thanks for the answer.
Originally I thought of using a CMS, but all the CMS I know (e.g.
Wordpress) are optimized for Blog. Can you indicate me a more flexible
CMS please? Thanks.
Best,
Nic

I'm quite satisfied with KnowledgeTree. There's (AFAIK) also plugin for
eGroupware.
