where am I?

What I am doing is building a dynamic Help artifact to implement on every page. When clicked, it needs to get the page name it was clicked on and pass that as a variable so it will match an anchor point on the help page.
Example:
Click on help icon on page anchor1
pass anchor1 as a variable to

<?php echo "<a href=\"/help.php#".$variable."></a>

<a href="/help.php#anchor1"></a>

(that code might not be exactly right, but that is not my question. just an example)

My problem is just that I cant get the page info to give to the variable. I was hoping there would be some magical get_location() that would tell me exactly where I was. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

My first question for the forum and I guess I will answer it myself.

I found this that does exactly what I need:
echo __FILE__;
Thanks for the help. Or at least the possibility of help...
