For something titled "URGENT NEED" in capital letters, the salary
level doesn't indicate any sense of urgency; it's actually about
average for the experience level required.

(Those readers living outside the Santa Clara California area might
think a salary band centered around $110K is high, but not really.
Not around here. Your standard of living would be higher earning
$65K in Idaho.)

Agreed. And $45-$70/hr for contract work might be OK in Minneapolis but
it's quite low for Santa Clara.

Typical equivalence is $1/hr. for each $1K/yr. salary. So that would
equate to $90-130/hr, which would be about right in the area for a
consultant.
