Image Post method / PHP help

Hi,

I am new to PHP and it seems like if I had a thumbnail on one page and had the user click it that I could have the large image loaded into a "template" image page via PHP that is a different page.

So simply put, how do I load an image into a page with out having to hand draw 50 seperate pages holding each larger image.

I would rather not use a gallery proggy.

Is it one of these thingies {image} or somethin.??

Help me out if you can.

There is more then one way to solve this. One of them is doing it using CSS. Have a look at the Stuart Nicholls site where you'll find many examples of how to enlarge images by clicking or hovering over the thumbnail. The link is

Send the filename of the image to the next script and use <?echo(inagefilename.extention);?> to display it in youy template
