WYSIWYG Textarea Editor

Hi,

Does anyone know where I can get a decent WYSIWYG text area editor to
use on one of my sites? The goal is to accomodate users who know zero
html and to insert blog-like enties into the database already formatted
with html tags.

Just thought I'd try this first before I go into WordPress and try to
tear out their editor :)

Thanks!

Does anyone know the light and easy WYSIWYG Text Editor instead of
above editor? Because above editor so big and large, difficult to
maintain.

I just want a light editor that can do bold, italic and underline.

thanks,

Lorento

HTMLArea has been replaced by xinha (http://xinha.python-hosting.com/).
There have been many improvements in xinha over HTMLArea.

Nice editor!

The only feature missing that I would find useful is method to allow the
user to paste from Word and have the Microsoft tags stripped
automatically and see the displayed results. Any easy method to do this?
