PHP 5.1.3 and tomcat 5.5

Can we configure PHP 5.1.3 with Tomcat 5.5. If yes, Please let me know
the steps about how to configure it. I have been strugling with it for
quiet sometime now. I have tried the website

blog.tarangana.com.....but no gain...

....are you using apache? If so, it's pretty trivial.
