what difference does it make if they live in DFW or Florida if they can
telecommute. Local-only postings should go to local-only forums.

I have worked for some of the biggest companies in the country from home
where home was a plane trip to visit the site. I worked for AT&T
Wireless for 6 months without once going to the office. I spent 1.5
years supporting Bristol-Myers-Squibb plant databases without ever
visiting the sites. A user deleted some important data and had to
restored one of those databases remotely.

If a company cannot trust their employees AND contractors to work
remote, then they should not hire them in the first place. Period.
