To try php locally

Hi at all,
localy I have installed the server xitami
WORKING with XITAMI I'ld like to know what can I install to run localy
also PHP files to work toogether with Xitami.

I download .zip but in advance to install it to \PHP folder in my local PC
I'ld want more information about my particular situation..
Infact in my local PC I work in this moment localy with xitami from time and
with it I use as cgi baserunner.exe (.cgi on linux)
Baserunner is on www.baserunner.com.
My web site is baserunner based.
My main index page where I run baserunner is a php page with php code that I
cannot (still now) try localy.
My question is :
Can I coninue to work with baserunner.exe together PHP?
Can work they together?
