strange phplib session behaviour

Hello,

This might be a little off topic, but the PHPlib mailinglist doesn't seem to
be very active, so maybe you guys can help me out.

This is the problem:

When in GET-Mode (Cookies disabled) the following code:

<a href="<?php echo $sess->url("index.php")?>"><?php echo
$sess->url("index.php")?></a>

produces a link to index.php?MY_SESSION=1122gg33gg455 (something like that).
So far there is nothing wrong with it. The odd thing about it is that the
title of the link is just "index.php" though. Without the SessionID
attached. Although the PHP code to generate the title is exactly the same
as the code which generates the url itself.

Any Ideas?
