i am new to php database, how to connect php database fields with user
profile files page?
like if i am creating a user sign up page, and i want it to be stored
on the database how do they communicate ?

Repeating this post several more times will probably work. Also, you
should consider cross-posting this to all groups about MySQL, PostgreSQL,
Oracle, SQL Server and UDB. That will get you information much faster
then buying a $20 book in your local book store.

They communicate via:
1) a connection
2) a query executed on that connection
3) If you receive result, you'll get a resultset-handle back.
Loop over it.

Depending which functions you do need, depends on the database you will use.
Just go to php.net, and start reading.
for example, for mySQL:

Also, like others suggested, get a good book.
Everything printed by O'Reilly will do. ;-)
A good book will get you going in no time.
I do not expect anybody in this newsgroup is willing to teach you all the
stuff. It is a lot, but if you had previous experience with databases and
scriptinglanguages (JSP/ASP/Perl), all will be straightforward for you.

Well, everyone here said the right thing. You might try this small
tutorial before heading for a book store! These "MySQL/PHP Database
Driven Websites" - (Part I, II and III) articles will obviously help
you to get started. Get a print-out with all it's diagrams a-n-d "Go
play!", please.
