you should have a look at http://www.easyphp.org/index.php3?lang=en

"EasyPHP is a complete software package allowing to use all the power
and the flexibility that offers the dynamic language PHP and the
effecient use of databases. Package includes an Apache server, a MySQL
database, a fully PHP execution, as well as easy development tools for
your web site or your applications."

Print it out before you start.

Another option to a website is a book.

I started my PHP training with Julie Meloni's "PHP Essentials"
and just picked up her new SAMS book "Teach Yourself PHP, MySQL,
and Apache in 24 Hours" a couple weeks ago. I'm hoping it'll
help save some time in troubleshooting a Win2k install but haven't
installed it from the included CD yet. 'Twas $20.99USD from

Hey Ojorus,

I'd recommend EasyPHP for setting up a full Windows development
server. Check out my EasyPHP Install guide which walks you through
everything, step by step.
