How to call tcl scripts using php

gk
Folks,

I need to call a tcl scripts ( procedures) from php function. And i
dont prefer to use exec(), as it needs to load the entire tcl
interpter everytime and source all those respective files. So if
theres any alternative solution please let me know !!

Any help is really appreciated...

Thanks,

So presumably you want to keep the interpreter running and pass it chunks of
code to execute? You could write a server in Tcl to accept bits of code. Or
maybe use something like FastCGI to avoid reinventing the wheel:

http://www.fastcgi.com/om_archive/index.html
http://www.fastcgi.com/om_archive/applibs/tcl/

Only given this a brief glance so don't know if it's suitable.

Probably best asked in a Tcl group.
