WHOIS expiry date ...

I've got a number of domains, and want to check the expiry date
automatically. There's plenty of whois scripts, but the output from the
different whois servers are not always the same.

Does anyone have any suggestions or working examples for parsing the WHOIS
output?

Thanks

Pretend answer to myself ..

Can anyone guide me to any guide on the layout of WHOIS information? They
seem to make it all up. There's no standard.

Has no-one else thought to query whois and cron an alert when a domain is in
its last few weeks?

Just trying to get some expert opinion.....

It is possible ;) But I won't do it without pay - because of the
research part of the work...

If you want to pay for the source - included Whois search and alert on
domains that only have a few weeks back... you're welcome to contact me
on the e-mail below ;)

Well, it's a kind offer ;) I'm only doing it to monitor my own sites, and as
it's only under 50, I can just print off the dates and stick them in my
diary.. I was just hoping to do something cleverer and expandable....

Okay ;)
Well, actually I will maybe do the script anyway.

Do you have an e-mail or please write to tcr480 (at) yahoo (dot) dk, and
I will inform you if/then the script are finished...

And maybe with the TLD's you do use (it isn't sure that I include all
TLD's in the first version ;)).

Johan
