Proposed: comp.internet.weblogs

I see there are a number of blog-related threads here. A new newsgroup
for those who read and write weblogs has been proposed. It would be
called comp.internet.weblogs. It would be used for in-depth discussion
of all things relating to weblogs.

As you may know, the procedure for starting a new newsgroup includes a
discussion, and then a vote. Currently the discussion part is underway.

If you'd like to participate in the discussion or the vote, go over to
news.groups and to the thread, "RFD: comp.internet.weblogs". (RFD stands
for Request for Discussion".)
