Isthe php_fdf extension evil?

My ISP says they can't provide this one extension, no reson given. In the
past, they've suggested other things are security risks or don't behave
under safe_mode.

For the life of me, I don't see what the big deal is with this one. I
really had hoped to utilize http://koivi.com/fill-pdf-form-fields/ but now
that's a no-go, apparently.

Why, why, why?

thanks,

Jeb
