Can someone answer this

P: n/a
No
I have a php script that I use for a classified site, this script uses field
sets that look like this

f_dcode|v_255_6|Dealercode||text|||8||||No|No|No|Y es|

Is this (field sets) something that is common in php and if so does anyone
know of any resources that I can read about them. Or does anyone know of a
utility that is designed to help build them.

Thanks

They're just bar-separated values; never heard the term 'field sets'.

So implode() and explode() can produce and parse them (so long as there isn't
a bar in the data itself, which you'd have to escape).

That looks awfully like some form of input specification. You are
probably on your own, these things are often hand rolled to suit the
application. Does this script include any libraries which may do form
creation?
