PHP scripts/apps needed please

Hi,
I am exploring/learning php and sometimes benefit from the use of
already developed
scripts for certain applications. Can anyone recommend a script for a
blog - flat file based, as in
the blog need not use a database to accomplish storing entries submitted.
Also, it would be nice if it was
configurable to allow more than one person to contribute to a blog.
Secondly, I could use a good bulletin board system. I'm thinking phpBB
is a tool that already exists but
wanted to get opinions on this. Interestingly, it seemed like when I found
the phpBB on two seemingly unrelated web
sites, I had been listed as already registered. Perhaps I'm mistaken and
that I just happened to have forgotten
that I registered for both bulletin boards on both web sites.
Anyway, a good Bulletin Board would allow me to create categories and
topics. Also, I'd want to administer it so that
I could screen what gets posted on my web site and its related pages. I
expect to use it on a page that is a resource site
for writers and poets.
Thanks,
Bruce
