I know in cgi/perl coding you can enter html in between
print<<"stop_until_eof";
<b>text</b>
stop_until_eof
Does php work the same way ?
Yes, you can do basically the same thing. Reading the PHP help about
"echo" shows the following:
echo <<<END
This uses the "here document" syntax to output
multiple lines with $variable interpolation. Note
that the here document terminator must appear on a
line with just a semicolon. no extra whitespace!
END;
Or if all you want to do is echo till the end of the file, just:
"<?PHP
code here...
?>
The rest of the file goes here."
