which server?

I'm deciding what dedicated server should I get but I don't know where
to start. I need something medium-high quality, mirrored, and it will be
used only for web ste storage of php sites, price around 1500$
Any suggestions?
thank you

Some more specifications:
The server will be for storage but it will also need a certain
processing power, it will be accessed multiple times a day, even if the
website is having an average of 300 users per day, we would like to
secure the traffic up to 1000 per day for example. What parameter do I
have to look when I have to consider the accesses?
Yes it will be a music portal, a very articulated website were people
will interact daily, eventually download mp3, write articles, forums,
chat, it has to support php and mysql.
About the HDD capacity, I simply don't have a clue what are the needs..
it should be something about 100-120G and mirrored.
thank you

Paolo,

First of all, if you don't know what you need, no one else will, either.
You must determine your disk space, bandwidth, etc. requirements.

Then check a webmaster's newsgroup like alt.www.webmasters (instead of a
PHP newsgroup like this one), or a site like http://www.webhostingtalk.com.
