Are there any methods to get the element's id?

Hi all,

Are there any methods to get the element's id in php?
Just like the function document.getElementById(id) in javascript.

Thanks

I think you misstated your question. In JavaScript,
document.getElementById() is not used to get the element's
ID; it returns the element itself, given its ID... In
PHP, this functionality is available through DOM extention:

http://www.php.net/dom-domdocument-getelementbyid

Cheers,
