Change it for the worse, probably. Client-side programming is always harder
than server-side programming because you don't control the environment where
your code is run. In addition to your own bugs, you end up having to deal
with bugs in the browsers themselves. Only today I had to fix a problem that
affects Netscape 7.0 but not 7.02.
Basically, unless you have a pretty good reason to use Javascript, don't.
