PHP news group under NNTP protocol

P: n/a
Hello, there!

Is there any possibility to access a PHP newsgroup though a news
client (i.e. Mozilla, Pan), using the NNTP protocol?

Thanks a lot

Yes, the newsgroup you're posting to (comp.lang.php). Google just slaps
their HTTP interface over an NNTP feed. For direct access, all you need is
a news server that carries the group (virtually any that carries comp.*
will do). A search like <http://www.google.com/search?q=free+usenet+server> produces many options to check.

Also, all the php.net groups (mirrored as mailing lists or forums on
several PHP websites) are available from news.php.net. More info at <http://www.php.net/support.php>.
