slash dot like script?

Anyone knows a good script that basically delivers functionality
similar to slash dot? I use phpnuke, but am thinking if there is
something better out there written in php.

MAMBO IS similar to PHP-Nuke and ITS better than PHP-Nuke and IS written in
PHP, understand now why i wrote the MAMBO sugestion?
