How good are these search engines?

hi

I am looking at replacing htdig.org tool with something fast. I came
across

http://www.site-search-pro.com/
http://www.phpdig.net/

My requirements are,

- Users should be able to search across the domains mentioned in the
configuration file (all sub-domains of indiainfo.com)
- users should be able to search withing a particular domain (just
travel.indiainfo.com)
Any recommendations are welcome. LAMP solutions is preferred

I'm sure, no one is going to use your search. Many will prefer
Google's site search--for that you may not even put up their code into
your site.

Many do use the site search we have on our portal to search just the
files on our portal

Sorry, but I'm extremely pessimistic about that.
