I found this great little site

I found this great little site. I signed up two weeks ago and got 2 Disney tickets and this week they are sending me 2 Universal Studios tickets. Here's the link http://66.219.102.40/ and by the way I am a real person, this is my real email address. I'm not a spammer and didn't appreciate the nasty email I got last time I tried to post this link.
Thanks, Lisa

Lisa,

And how does that relate to PHP?

Please tell me what the difference between a spammer and you is then.
I am curious.

I have seceral apps I am in the process of turning into apps for the ASP model. By that I mean, a self-service web site where people can register themselves and use it without any admin interaction. A common example is the email or sales force automation. A user finds the site, signs up/pays, and is off & running. These are things I am working on converting form a single user app to asp. Please let me know what else I should be...

Could someone point me in the right direction? I've migrated three FrontPage 2002 websites to a new web server. Each web site has a Access 2000 database on the data server. I have the global.asa on each site pointing to a .udl file which is pointing to the appropriate access DB on the data server. We're not allowed to use DSN's. Front Page 2002 will not allow me to create a network connection to an Access (only SQL). Only one of the three...

On every web browser except Safari, this website works great. (Well, by "every" I mean Mozilla, Netscape, and Internet Explorer, for Mac and Windows). The site is: http://www.ruleofthirds.com (the problem does not exist on the first page... just all the other pages, so you'll have to click on something to see the problem) The problem lies with images swapping on rollover. I use a small

I was trying to advocate using Python for an upcoming prototype, so my boss went out to take a look at the documentation and try and get a feel for what the language is all about. First comment; "I hope the language is designed better than the site." The site is readable, but is amateurish. If I had an ounce of design skills in me, I would take a stab at it. Maybe we could round up a couple of designers to donate some time? Maybe we...

I have been finding difficulty in locating decent, in-depth information on a standard matter in the IT world... STRING FORMATTING. Particuarlly as it relates to C# (or .NET). The books I have give little attention to this basic need. Parsing, replacing, splitting, finding substrings, etc. doesn't seem to be highlighted or easily searched for. Does anyone know of a site that focuses on this topic?

Hi All, I tried using RegEx, but the compiler barfed with "The type of namespace 'RegEx' could not be found. Prior to this, I had the same problem with MatchCollection, but discovered it's in the namespace "System.Text.RegularExpressions;" and that namespace is, in turn, defined in the namespace "System", according to MSDN at http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/c75he57e(en-us,VS.80).aspx. So adding "using...

It will be a commerical application for customers. The question was which microsoft licences are required on the customer site. The technology: ASP.NET, One central SQL-Server login, internal user database - no windows authentication.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
