PHP time formatting ?

I would like to do something like this:

if my user enters:
into a text box, when my PHP executes and displays this data on the
next page it will show up as:
so basically it will already have the : in it. How would I do this?

After some problem with data mismatches, I finally got it to work only to see that it takes 30-60 seconds to run the query, instead of the usual .5 seconds when I use a query without a function. Here is...

I have a gridview that's being populated from an access db query. I wish to generate a datetime string that has the following format. '05/02/2007 12:46'. The leading zeros are required. I found '14.2 time' in the library reference and have pulled in localtime. Are there any formatting functions available or do I need to make my own? Perhaps there is something similar to C's printf formatting. Thanks,

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
