emacs - indenting HTML nicely

Using emacs21 on Debian Sarge.

I've installed html-helper-mode which can be used in emacs and generates a
template file when visiting a new file with .html as an extension.

However, indent-region does not seem to work.

Any news on this?

I must have missed something because I can not find a mode for emacs which
will indent HTML nicely.

Any pointers gratefully received,

Sorry but there is no another way, c# .net and mono are going to rip python, not because python is a bad lenguage, but because is to darn old and it refuses to innovate things, to fix wrong things, just because retarded backwards compatibility and because the python comunity and developers refuses to consider tools as being almost as important as the language itself. What does c# .net has that python doesnt ? (significant features) --...

Hello, Does anyone know how to make python-mode correctly indent nested lists and dictionaries. I hate indenting Django url patterns and Zope Archetypes schemas by hand, because python-mode indents them in incorrect and ugly way. Here's how it should be: StringField('reference', widget=StringWidget( description='Position reference'

I've been using Emacs to edit SGML and XML since Len wrote psgml. For the last decade (almost) I've been using xxml-mode as well for the nice indenting and colorization. It's been absolutely fine, on half a dozen flavors of Un*x, Widnows, and MAC OSs. I installed my standard .emacs and assorted .els on a new laptop with a fresh install of Ubuntu Gutsy a few months ago, all fine. I just installed the identical OS from the same CD on a...

Great to see VS Emacs key mapping back as of VS2005, but there have been bugs that were never fixed. They remain in VS2008, despite bug reports to Microsoft., and SP1 for VS2008 does not fix them. Problems are primarily with indenting...tab key will not work in some cases. And some cut and paste problems. Both documented in reports on MS site. Does anyone know if this is targeted for upcoming service packs? Or are there published...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
