For those of you have not come across Zend framework yet:
http://framework.zend.com/

Now, to attempt to answer your question...

Based on how the MySQL, MSSQL, PgSQL and SqLite connections are handled
through PDOs, the following files are missing and would need to be
developed first:

library/Zend/Db/Adapter/Pdo/Odbc.php
library/Zend/Db/Statement/Odbc.php

IOW - the support isn't there yet, so you will have to create it
yourself or with the help of others at this time. I didn't even see
anything in the web CSV/SVN browser about odbc at this time.

Yep, I read it, but I guess I was too subtle. The ZEND framework doesn't
support odbc yet.

The Zend framework preview release is out <http://framework.zend.com/> and I don't know why such PEAR like (yet another) framework is needed. At the same time, Rasmus' article <http://toys.lerdorf.com/archives/38-The-no-framework-PHP-MVC-framework.html> is quite contrary to Zend's move (if I'm right). What you guys think?

I've been programming a long time, but I'm not very bright these days. I've been using Zend Studio for a couple of years (LOVING IT!!) to build a web framework. I've been *hearing* about a Zend Framework, but never looked into it. I just got back from the web site... and I guess my dimness is shining, because I can't figure out what it is. Can someone give me a little narrative about what it is and how I might

Hi, all. I recently encountered a very annoying problem while using Zend Framework(ZF). We use ZF in our web application, and it works fine at the beginning, but later when concurrent requests goes high, we get very high cpu load. when i trace the httpd using strace, i find so much fstat64 syscalls, most of which failed, all these syscalls take more than 60% of cpu usage. After i check our php code carefully, i find

Hi All, First off let me say that from what I've seen of the XDebug debugger, I'm pretty impressed--it would just be nice if I could actually use it to its full potential in Eclipse. My Environment: - XAMPP 1.6.6a Installation (PHP 5.2.5, Apache 2.2.8, MySQL 5.0.51a) - Eclipse 3.3 w/PDT 1.0.2 - XDebug 2.0.3 for PHP 5.2.5

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
