Populating a dropdown based on the selection from another dropdown

How to populate a dropdown based on the selection of an item in another dropdown using perl???

That's done with javascript. If you want Perl involved, then you need to make an AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) call to a Perl script that returns the required html for the dropdown.
