launch perl script onclick button

Hi to everyone, I have a problema:

I must launch perl script when a click on button, but without tag form, because the perl script that i call return me a value that I must see in the first script.

so:

script 1 --> call at click on butto script 2 --> script 2 return value --> the value come back to script 1

Someone can help me plase?

Are you talking about a cgi script or tk (or similar) gui script?

If you're talking about a cgi (web) script, then it sounds like you'll want to use AJAX.
