about perl language

I want to learn perl scripting, anyone tell me which book i have to refer and
whats the scope of this language.

There are a ton of websites dedicated to the Perl language. Plus, there a couple good, free, online books available as well. Have you even searched Google yet? If you did, you would have had 223 million hits to keep you busy.
