Perl Code for pressing keys on a keyboard

Hi,

Can someone please provide me some code that that identifies what key im pressing on the keyboard?

for example if i pressed the key 'r'.....??

I would to write some code that would allow users to select items by pressing keys on a keyboard...

There is Term::ReadKey:

http://search.cpan.org/~jstowe/TermR....30/ReadKey.pm

Never used it myself and you most likely have to install it.
