Run executables

P: 51
Is it possible to run executables or run command line instructions using pearl script? I tried using the system function, but always got an internal server error.

Thanks in advance.

First, its Perl, not "pearl". (pearl is what you get from an oyster).

Second, yes, you would either use the system function or use back tics. If you got an internal system error, then something was wrong. Why not post your code here for us to see. Please be sure to post it inside of code tags and be sure to have used "strict" and "warnings" in your code as well so we aren't chasing easily caught syntax issues.
