Help to create test report

Hi,

I am a new perl user. I have written a framework using perl to help me automation on selenium.

I want to implement the below in the FW :
1. Generation indinitual test log in a indivitual file . For example : if i run test1 to test5 I want this to create a 'Log' derectory appending todays date, and create indivitual files inside the directory for test1 to test5.

Right now it looks as below:

[log]
diag = 'log_diag.tap'
$filename = 
output = 'log_output.txt'
failure_output = 'log_failure.tap'
todo_output = 'log_todo.tap'

But i am not happy to get result of all the test scripts in a single file.

2. to generate a report containg, total no. of test cases, number of passed and failed cases.

Friends please help me with some idea on this.

You need to write your own code first.
