How to execute the perl code after an interval

I need to execute the perl code after a delay of say an minute.. and i need to write to do this in the perl code itself....Plz help

Use sleep command. e.g:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1.     sleep 10;
  2.  
This will pause for 10 seconds.
