Key Event in Perl

parajaganesh
Hi All,

I have prepared a Script to create a view from ClearCase Explorer GUI mode. It works fine. But it will not showing the new view immediately. ClearCase Explorer will display it after giving Alt + F5 key. (to get refresh).

My question is, 'can we automate this (Alt + F5) process...?'. i.e.can we give the Alt + F5 key input from our script?

I have searched from net. I am not got enough information.
Please help me to get detail information.

Are you talking about a remote perl script? Like a perl script on a web server? There is no way that can be made to simulate pressing keys on a clients computer keyboard, could you imagine what a security risk that would be?
