Perl with JavaScript

Hi,
If I have a javascript function, like for example the one below, how can I incorporate/use it with my perl script. Thanks so much in advance.

Javascript runs in the browser window, perl runs on the server. You can print javascript code in html output generated by your perl script and it will run just like any javascript code would
