Formating a excel file

Hello !!!

I am new in perl and In my work they ask me to do a simple program to format some file that are generated my another program, sometimes are like 4, sometimes are 15 or more, so doing it manually is out, so y question is very simple, first which modules I need to work with excel in perl, one of the first things is that I need to add rows to the beginning I thought It was easy but I can not find any information about how to do that .
