list direcorty contents and display subdirectories as hyperlink

How can generate an HTML page with a Perl CGI script that lists the content of a given directory, and the subdirectory should be hyperlinked so that if a user clicks on it, the content of this subdirectory should be listed?

Can you post the code that you have tried thus far so that we can help you get it working? We do require this as we are not a scripting service.
