extract form data

hi all!! i am ew to perl and i wanted to extract the username/password that is in a html file(form fields) . i want to use the html::parser for this..can anyone suggest me how to do it?

Have a look at the docs for this module. Also, check out the examples provided by the author. If you still have problems, then post some code that you have tired.

HTML::Parser is not for getting the data a form sends to the server. Are you wanting to process form data? if so, use the CGI module. If not, clarify your question.
