Empty List Box

Hello all,
I am writing an automation program in Perl. And in this process, a window comes up with a list of items (like a ListBox) and i have to select the first item. No problems getting this far, i just use the MoveMouseAbsPix and it's all good. However, i have a rare case where the window has no items in it to select from.

Is there a way to have perl recognize when there are no items in the window to select from and process that somehow?

I don't know of a way, but hopefully someone else here can help you. You might check the perl-win32-users mailinglist as well.
