Interacting with web page

5
Hi, everyone:

Thanks for reading this. My question is, will perl be able to read from a text file one record at a time and then put the extracted record to google, and do the search, and save the hyperlinks of a result text file.

I am just sooooo new to perl, and I need your help, any link of example or tuitorial will do me a great favor!

Thank you!!!

Sounds possible. You probably want to look into WWW::Mechanize but you can probably use LWP and LWP::UserAgent by themselves. I think WWW::Mechanize has many examples, but if you don't know perl it will mean nothing to you.

If memory serves me, google does not allow bots to hit their site and what you want to do is essentially program a bot. You can do it, but it is against their terms of service.
