Accessing Informix Databsse

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to access informix database from perl script. Actually i want to read some values from one database and fill in other database with validations.

Any link or tutorial will work for me....even some sample code also..

In Perl, you would start by using the DBI module to access your database. To go along with the database interface (DBI), you have database drivers that you can use as well in addition. In thiscase, you would want to try the DBD::Informix module, which would provide the interface to the Informix database.

Those two modules should keep you busy for a short while.
