Posting FORM to CGI script error!

135 100+
Currently I have have a HTML file (FORM) which is directed to a CGI script. My HTML and my CGI script are both placed in the same folder (C:\Perl\bin\).

When I fill out the form (post.html) and press submit, I only get the CGI script being displayed NOT the results. Where I'm I going wrong?
<html><head><title>Post.html</title></head>
<body>

<form action="\Perl\bin\post.cgi" method="POST">
<pre>
Your Name: <input type="text" name="name">
Email Address: <input type="text" name="email">
Age: <input type="text" name="age">
Favorite Color: <input type="text" name="favorite_color">
</pre>
<input type="submit" value="Send">
<input type="reset" value="Clear Form">
</form>

</body>
</html>
Well, your script is being sought in "\Perl\bin\". Is this where you have your web server configured to look for cgi scripts? If you are using Apache, then you need to configure it to look this directory. It sounds like your web server is not seeing the script as having to be executed, but instead to be displayed, assuming your web server is setup for CGI.

Regards,

Jeff

Your cgi scripts go in the appropriate apache folder, not the perl\bin folder of perl. I thought I made this clear in the other thread, maybe not.
