Now, about your question. You will want to read the tutorial, "
A Short Guide To DBI" by Mark Jason Dominus. It is a really good intro into DBI if you are interested.
The first part of that document explains that in calling the DBI module, if you used the statement:
- DBI->connect('DBI:Oracle:payroll')
That would tell DBI to load the Oracle module and then subsequently open the 'payroll' database.
You would simply replace Oracle with DB2 and it should load the appropriate module, but you will have to have DBI installed first.
