PERL: Button to post variable to notepad

Because i've already used perl to write my program, i now need to have a button to extract the variable and post them to a notepad to make it like a report. Is there any way to do this?

Thanks.

Well "Button to post variable to notepad" doesn't really tell us much. What exactly is your perl program trying to do? What environment does it run under? What modules are you using?

Is this a Perl/TK application?

Those are all the relevant questions I can think of right now given what you've told us.

i have 8 programs that i've written in perl-html, an example of one is a virtual PCR that has been developed.. the user inputs a dna sequence or choose one from our database, they enter some information about their desired outcome for the PCR and press the submit button, afterwhich the result of the pcr will be shown at the bottom of the user input fields (which does not look very nice). therefore i'm trying to find a way where by the results can be shown in notepad so that it looks more professional and also allows the user to print the result (like it was a report) for future references.

thanks again.
