Oracle to postgre migration

Hi all

I use ora2pg tools my platform is Window and oracle 10.g when i run the ora2pg tools i get this error:"Can't locate String/Random.pm.."

Please help

looks like you need to install the String::Random module. I have never heard of it myself. If you are on windows you must be using activestate perl. Open the activestate folder and read the "documentation". Find the PPM instructions. PPM is used to install modules.

Did you resolve this problem? I'm having the same trouble when I try to run ora2pg in my Fedora 7 64bit installation.

Welcome to TSDN julianm!!

If the error you are getting indicates that it is unable to locate the String::Random module; then you need to install the module from CPAN. This is a dependency of ora2pg.
