Question on "How to use Module"

25
Hi all,

I am good at Perl Basics like arrays, hashes, Regex and files & directory. But I have not used Modules in my program. Could someone point me some links or documents on "How to use Modules" in Perl program.

I would appreciate your response.

Thanks,
San

The three standard methods of using external files (modules) is: "do", "use", "require". See if Capter 10 of this online perl book helps you out:

Thanks for your reply. I know about those 3 ways of using external modules. But my question is how do I pass arguments to an external module. For eg: how to use a DBI module. I will be posting another question on DBI module in the same forum.

Thanks!
