Hi,

Can someone tell me what does this return?

return(sprintf("%02d", $index));

consider the value of $index is 4.

Thank You

Seems like you could have figured this out yourself easy enough:

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. $index = 4;
  2. $n = sprintf("%02d", $index);
  3. print $n;

prints: 04

perldoc: sprintf
